OBERON TRAILRIDE Information

Oberon Trail Ride ..........About This Event THIS IS NOT A RACE
This is fully arrowed, sweep and medical supported State Forest ride, the course will be open for up to 6 hours of riding, with long sections and up to 130 klm of individual trails available. Best suited to the single cylinder enduro type bikes, easy to medium trails, no extreme enduro stuff. Prime single line manicured trails, fire trails and distant mountain veiws will make for a ride to remember
Saturday
You may Start off by Staying in Oberon , camping at the Reef Reserve, Lake Oberon, only minutes from town with toilets / showers and peacefull water views , or a Hotel or Motel stay , Find out more, Click the link here, VISIT OBERON
Check in will be conducted at Oberon RSL Club , with a meet n greet /sign in and grab a meal while your there. Courtesy bus can run from Camping at the Reef Reserve to the RSL Club.
Late check in on Sunday morning by prior approval at the start point, 7.30 am till 8.30 am
Sunday
The course will open at 9.00 AM, Sections will close at times during the afternoon, up to 130 klm of trails available. First loop is 75 klm ,without repeating the same trail before returning back to start / finish area, with parts of the course remaining open until 3 pm for those that want to do a bit more. Ride as much as you like or if getting fatigued there is multiple short cuts available.

You need , A/ Electronic copies of your motorcycle licence and registration
B/ Ambulance cover [private health fund or obtain a policy ]. You do not need to fully join a health fund. Most health funds do sell a Ambulance only cover. Starting around $30 for 6 months.
C/ MA Trail pass [ $16 ] or MA licence if you

The actual forest we use is located 20 minutes south of Oberon, in the Vulcan state Forest area. This is easily acsessible via mainly tar roads from southern end/Goulburn, form Oberon to the north and from the west

- How hard is the ride ? We have made enjoyable single track style trails and have options for bigger bikes or easier sections, no hard enduro stuff or crazy jumps.
