DESCRIPTION

This kits is for those of you that already have a Scotts Steering Stabilizer. Note: The arm must be in the reversed position. Too Add A Scotts Stabilizer 

The BRP SUB Mount bolts directly to the 18-> YZ 65 & 19-> YZ 85 OEM triple clamp. The BRP SUB Mount offers two handlebar positions: 16mm & 26mm RTS (Relative to Stem). The stock triple clamp has four bar positions but for most riders Position 1 (Closest to the rider) is too far back and Position 4 (furthest from the rider) is too far forward. We can offer a rider two ver functional and favorable bar positions that will improve the ergonomics of this bike.

The BRP SUB Mount will increase the handlebar height as follows:.
711″ (18mm) Taller than the stock YZ 65
.122″ (3mm) Taller than the stock YZ 85

The BRP SUB Mount is designed to run 1 1/8″ ProTaper style handlebar and mount a Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar replacing the bar mount assembly on your OEM, BRP or Scotts triple clamp. The SUB Mount setup offers several benefits over a conventional “above bar” stabilizer setup.

• Reduced risk of injury by coming into contact with stabilizer
• Increased handlebar height
• Enables you to run a bar pad for 1 more level of protection

BRP SUB Mounts are designed exclusively to fit OEM, BRP or Scotts triple clamps. In some cases we may have one that will work on other aftermarket triple clamps. If you have a triple clamp other than OEM, BRP or Scotts; please contact us to see if we have an application that will work.

SPECIAL NOTES:
When running a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration the arm will need to be reversed mounted. Using a lower bend bar can often emulate the stock bar height.

e bars. These kits are designed for use with Oversize bars. "Bar reducers" are available as an option, to convert the kit to standard diameter bars, should that be desired. This concept allows more room for other equipment such as, Global Positioning Systems(GPS) or Enduro/Rally computers and yet still retain the quick access for adjusting the stabilizer. This is also good for the taller rider who wants his bars a little higher, as it raises the bar location approximately 11-25mm, depending on the model of bike. In some cases, you might consider a lower bend handlebar bend at the same time, unless you are trying to achieve a higher bar height along with your stabilizer installation. We can also help you with other handlebar choices to match your desired setup, as we have a full selection of handlebars to choose from on this website. The SUB mounts are only available on certain models based on the physical limitations of mounting in this area.
